Mr. Stephen J. Neigut specializes in operational and technical management within the refining and gas plant industries.  He has over 35 years of managerial and technical experience in the midstream and downstream petroleum industry.  His experience spans design construction, operation and operations support of many different processes within the petrochemical industries. He has worked around the world for several major and international oil and gas companies.  He also provides consulting services to domestic and international energy companies in crude oil refining and petrochemical operations

Mr. Neigut has a solid understanding of refining and gas plant operations. His experience includes proficiency in steady state modeling. He has a track record of resolving difficult operational problems across the petroleum industries, with optimization of complex and integrated facilities being a specialty. He has also been responsible for alternative financing of capital projects, including lease-to-own and industrial revenue bonds.

Mr. Neigut has authored several studies for clients ranging from asset relocation, market pricing to disaster recovery. He has led Accident and Unusual happening investigations and change management efforts, and he is skilled in HAZOP analysis.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Neigut was a Refining Cpnsultant, Project Manager, Refinery Manager and Principal with a global expert services firm. He has also served as an independent consultant and in a management position at an engineering firm.  He still supports the litigation services from time to time.

Mr. Neigut is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, cum laude.  He holds an MBA from Rice University’s Jones School of Management.
